Yes, the Universal Wiring Harness part # HM40985 is compatible with the Hopkins Endurance Multi-Tow 7-Way RV and 4-Way Flat Trailer Connector part # HM40950. The male plug is referred to as a US car connector and is very common on most vehicles today. I have attached a wiring diagram for you as well.

I would like to upgrade my 2003 Ford crew cab short 51/2 box trailer connector plug wiring - vehicle end. I now have the OEM tow package from the factory. Im looking for a plug and play clean custom wire harness. I want to change the OEM broken 7-way plug connector using the Hopkins Endurance 7-way and 4-way plug #HM40950 and combine it with the Tekonsha #118242 Ford Replacement OEM Tow Package Custom Wiring Harness, 7-way Blade. My question is, will the Hopkins Endurance 7-way and 4-way work with the Tekonsha #118242 custom wire harness? The #118242s has a short wire harness length while the #HM40950 wire harness length is 10 long!
