What does HBA-CAM stand for, I know that HBA stands for hydaulic brake actuator but what CAM stand for and what is the purpose of this product.

The CAM from the Carlisle Control Adapter Module # HBA-CAM stands for Control Adapter Module. The purpose of this unit is to adapt the Carlisle HydraStar Electric-Hydraulic Actuator # HBA16 to the following brake controllers.

Ford factory controller from 2007-2008
GM/Chevrolet factory controller 2007-Present
