Do All Pintle Hitch Mounting Plates have the Same Hole Diameter and Spacing

Question:

Hi there, are all pintle hitch mount plate holes sizes the same? If I purchase a mount plate, will it fit my universal hitch? Thanks

Most pintle hitch mounting plates do have the same hole spacing and diameter. That is not to say that there isn't the oddball size every now and again. The vast majority do have the same spacing and hole diameters though so if it were me I would not be worried at all about it.

On plate # BWPMHD14004 the holes are spaced 1-3/4 inches apart on center vertically and 3-3/8 inches apart on center horizontally and are approximately 1/2 inch in diameter. Compare that to your hitch.
