Question:
Back again. I have a 40ft commercial box truck. I want to install led lights in the box. It appears the only power available comes from the cab and is tied into the headlight switch. I want to run a seperate line with the on and off switch in the box, not in the cab. this was a used commercial truck. What are my options? Thank you!

You can do exactly what you are looking to do by running wire such as # 12-1-1 from the 12 volt power and then simply wire a toggle switch such as # PK34513 with your LED lights such as the Opti-Brite LED Interior Light # ILL08COB.
You will also need some Butt Connectors # DW05745-10 to join the lengths of wire.
