Question:

Hi I have a 2011 cougar 318sab, it came factory with one ac unit in the rear of the fifth wheel, does our camper come prepped to add a 2nd ac unit in the front bedroom where the vent is? Thank you.

Hey Alex. From the information I can find online it does look like your 2011 Keystone Cougar 318SAB does come prepped for a second AC unit. The bedroom roof vent should be reinforced and pre-wired for a 13.5k or 15k BTU unit.

To check if your trailer is prepped for a second AC unit, you'll want to look at your bedroom ceiling for a 14"x14"vent, remove the interior trim, and look for a capped Romex cable.

To add a second AC system, I recommend the Furrion Chill HE RV Air Conditioner System item # FR52TD in black or item # FR95TD in white.
