Will Dexter Torflex Lift Kit Work on Different Torsion Axle
Updated 08/27/2018 | Published 08/24/2018 >
Question:
I replaced the original axles on my trailer with the ones in the attached photo, no problem. I’d like some lift due to bottoming out on inclines etc. The kit I would like to use is the tandem axle 2 5/8” lift. I’m concerned about the bolt pattern. Can you tell by the information on the axle in the attached photo if it will fit? Cheers

The Dexter Torflex Lift Kit # K71-707-02 that you referenced is only confirmed to fit Dexter #10 Torflex axles that have a 2,300 to 4,000 pound capacity. It's possible that it will fit other torsion axles like what you have on your trailer, but it has not been officially tested. Looking at the picture you attached of your axle I cannot be sure if it will work or not.
I went out to our warehouse to measure the bolt pattern on these spacers and found that the bolts are spaced apart exactly 8 inches on center. Also note that they cannot be used on torsion axles with 3 inch high profile brackets. You can use this information to see if this might work on your trailer.
