Speaker 1: Today we're taking a look at the TourFlex Lift Kit. This lift kit is designed to raise your trailer frame to provide 3 1/8 inches of additional clearance between the trailer frame and the axle. This is ideal for trailers needing to gain a bit more ground clearance. Again, it raises the trailer frame 3 1/8 inches off the axle. This is designed for use on trailers with tandem number 12 TourFlex axles, with a 5,500 pound to 7,000 pound capacity. It works on side-mounted axle systems only. And the spacers are constructed of a durable steel construction, and they have a black paint finish.
So with this kit, you get four frame spacers, and you get all the necessary installation hardware needed to complete the process.Basically, what happens is . the way this attaches is let's picture as if my trailer's going this way. I have the front of the trailer and the rear of the trailer. So the flat side faces the wheel assembly. The internal side would face the underside of the trailer.
And then, basically what we have is we have hardware to attach to the top of the axle. Then we have hardware . We have these holes here, so we have the necessary hardware to also attach to the frame of the trailer. Each side of each spacer is gonna have two attachment points: One on the bottom, which you're gonna attach it to the axle, one on the side, which would attach to the trailer frame. It's got the welded-in supports. It's a nice, strong, durable design. When it comes to the overall measurements, measuring edge to edge, each one measures the same.
We're looking at 12 inches long. Overall height 3 1/8 inches, that's where we get our clearance measurement from. And then the overall depth is 2 1/2 inches. That's gonna do it for today's look at the TourFlex Lift Kit. Again, these are designed for number 12 TourFlex axles, with 5,500 pound to 7,000 pound capacities.
