Does this work for a 2012 Ford F150 3.5 V6 Ecoboost. If so where is it installed at? Also we need this for -50 degrees will it hold up for this type of temps?

The Kat's block heater you need for your 2012 Ford F-150 is a cartridge style heater part # KH11815 which installs in the cartridge on the motor in the "right front" position which is the passenger side of the motor closest to front of it.
