How to Use the Thule Hullavator on a Truck Bed Topper

Hello. I have a 2011 3/4 ton 6ft box gmc with topper installed. Im looking at adding a roof rack/bar system and then add on the thule hullavator to my topper. I was looking at the Rhino Y02-490B but not sure if that will work with the hullavator. Any idea if it will or if youd recommend another cross bar complete system that is similar priced that works well with the hullavator and my gmc topper? THank

The Rhino-Rack Roof Rack System part # Y02-500B is the perfect solution for you to use the Thule Hullavator Pro Kayak Carrier part # TH898 on your 2011 GMC Sierra 2500's topper. The main requirement for the Hullavator is that the crossbars must extend out 4" past the mounting feet.

If you take a look at the attached photo of a very similar setup, you can see the crossbars extend out past the mounting feet a good amount and should allow for you to use the Hullavator without issue. The crossbars included in this kit are a bit longer than that in the photo so you should have no concerns. You can also set the crossbar closer to one side if additional clearance is needed.
