Will Thule Hullavator Pro Kayak Roof Rack Fit Yakima Aero Crossbars

Hello, about 5yrs ago I purchased a hullavator for my truck cap. The cross bars on the truck are Yakama, they extend past the foot of the cross bar. The bars are a tear shape. At the time of the original purchase whey wouldnt fit the cross bars. Has the install kit been adjusted to fit mine now?

Hey Thom! The newer Thule Hullavator Pro Kayak Roof Rack # TH898 will fit your Yakima crossbars. Unlike the old 897XT this fits round, square, aero, and elliptical crossbars. As long as you have the required 4" - 8" overhang you can use this for your setup.
If you were asking if there is a way to adapt the 897XT to those crossbars it is not possible, the only solution is to use the updated version of the Hullavator.
