Question:
I have mounted my spare on the front of my 2017 Ram 3500 Dual rear wheel. tire size is LT235/80R17. The Wheel is mounted with the wheel cup facing out plus the studs and nuts. My question will this or any other cover that you have work and not have the studs and nuts wear holes through the cover?

Helpful Expert Reply:
I have the perfect spare tire cover for your 2017 Ram 3500. For this, I recommend the Rampage Display Spare Tire Cover part # RA783235. This tire cover will fit tires up to 32" diameter and your 235/80-17 tire has a 31.8" diameter so it will be a very snug and secure fit. This will be the best option to prevent the hub face and lug nuts for wearing through the cover. The other option you have is an oversized cover like the Rampage Spare Tire Cover part # RA773535. This cover will not be as tight of a fit as the above but it will allow for some slack so the hub face and lug nuts do not wear through.
