Your e-bike matters, how you carry it should matter too. This rack holds your bike by the wheels, so you're not scuffing paint every time you load up. And it tilts, so you can grab snacks or gear from the trunk without taking your bike off.
The Crosstrack has pivoting upright arms with tire grips that grab your bike firmly by the wheels, not the frame. These grips allow you to load and unload quickly, and they won't scratch or scuff the paint. The grips have slots on the inside so you can adjust them to fit your wheel size.
Grabbing gear from the trunk doesn't mean unloading your bike. You can tilt the Crosstrack away from your vehicle by pulling the handle and gently lowering it down. Need snacks? A jacket? No problem. Grab what you need and get back on the road. And when your bike isn't loaded, the rack folds up against your vehicle. This takes up less space, so you can keep the rack on your vehicle to park in your garage.
The Crosstrack installs into a 1-1/4" hitch using a threaded anti-rattle hitch pin. Slide the shank into the receiver, insert the pin, and tighten it down. This pulls the rack snug against the inside of the hitch to reduce sway and rattle while you drive. It also includes a 2" adapter so you can switch between hitch sizes without changing racks.
The rack includes locks for your bikes and the rack, so you can step away from your vehicle for a bite to eat or leave it in the parking lot overnight. The cable lock wraps through your bikes' frame and the rack, and the locking pin secures the rack to your hitch. Both locks are keyed alike so you only need 1 key for the rack.
If you leave everything on the trail and are completely gassed when you're done cycling, you're not going to want to lift your bike onto a rack before heading home. The Crosstrack Ramp (HLY39RR - sold separately) lets you roll your ride into place and hit the road.
When you're hauling your bike, staying visible matters. This LED bar (HLY79RR - sold separately) lights up your brake signals, turn indicators, and flashers, so even if your ride runs past sunset, other drivers know exactly where you are and what you're doing.
Note: This rack is not compatible with bikes with fenders.

It’s very simple to assemble and install very well thought out. I installed it on a Prologue Honda Elite All wheel drive electric car and it looks wonderful on the back of the car and it clears the hatch by just tilting it back slightly. Leaving it that way so that you don’t open it by accident and scratch your car now if you’re driving down the road I suppose you could put a little bit forward but I currently have it in as far as it goes. Maybe if I adjusted out a little bit it’s like an inch and a half difference maybe it’ll clear I’ll have to try and see but so far very happy with the car with the look of it and not sure how it will function, but I’m gonna give it a try.
Easy to assemble and works well.
Two helpers from my church came over to assist me with installing this new bike rack. They couldn’t get over how well- made it is and how easy to use. My tailgate opens without having to adjust the rack at all! Bravo!
Rack works in
Excellent product. Very easy to assemble, instructions are great but almost not needed. If you have some mechanical experience then it is a piece of cake. The rack is sturdy well made and functions perfectly. I saw similar products for twice the cost!!
Very happy I decided to purchase this one.
Fast shipping works great! Easy to put together.
Rock-solid construction, all functions smooth and certain, looks great on my 4Runner. I'm ready to e-mountain bike Moab after 30 years. Thanks, E-Trailer!
Easy to assemble. Quick to install on hitch and so easy to load.
Sturdy frame ,easy assembly. Put it together in 25 minutes ( quicker if I didn’t drop a washer)
Popped the bike on and ratcheted it down in seconds. Very intuitive system. Bike sat rock steady the entire trip. Came with a ramp as a bonus but It was easy enough to load without. Very small footprint deployed and when folded up. Comes with set of reflective sticker for better night time visibility. A great option for single bike transport. I am still
Lots of extras (bike cable lock, hitch pin with lock) and tools for assembly. Used 1/2" drive ratchet, 17 mm socket to speed up assembly. Clear, legible instructions. Boxes were labeled with part numbers, very helpful. Suggest inventory parts, read instructions thru before assembly.
Had it out today, very secure, tilt feature with no bike allows hatch to open on SUV-RAV4. Fold up empty rack and vehicle fits in garage, that's why I got this rack and it was made for 2" hitch, strong. Packaging was well done, no damage, freight company did good job.
Great product. Easy to put together, sits firmly, easy to load with my ebike. I have it in the 2-inch hitch receiver on my travel trailer. Looking forward to lots of travel in the months ahead.
This electric carbon fiber bike is well made and easy to use. I would like to see the carriage bolts that hold both sides on be high-strength bolts.
Simply love the solid and sturdy design. So simple to put together and use. Looking forward to the many more adventures we will have with the bike rack.
Love it. The only thing that would make it better for me is if it were expandable for a second bike, but that’s a minor drawback. Looking forward to getting the ramp to go along with it.
The quality of the rack far exceeded my expectations. Very easy to install and extremely fast delivery. Well worth the price.
This product is very well built and finished. Well packaged with great instructions. Bike secures easily with no fiddly straps. Folds up low and does not obstruct my SUV's rear camera or tailgate. The tray folds up with a nice handle and no pins or locks
There are some negatives:
Product is heavy and over engineered to carry a single bike. The tray is wider than it needs to be.
A premium product at a premium price for a single bike carrier.
I just installed the cross track rack a couple of days ago which I’ll use primarily for my mountain bike. I haven’t down any long distance travel yet, but so far so good. The rack was easy to install and feels pretty solid. Easy to get the bike on and off the rack. I do like the no touch system.
I must say the customer service and delivery from etrailer is stellar. I ordered my curt hitch from them as well and both items arrived as scheduled and customer service is readily available to answer questions, etc.
It"s a single carry rack that holds my XL 50"wheel base Specialized Levo. Folds up nice on my 2025 Sienna van. I don"t think it will clear my liftgate when in the lowered position though. Maybe some braver soul will
one day prove me wrong. The build quality is good- mostly steel with an aluminum wheel rail tipping 41 lbs. The "anti wobble"
hitch pin tightener is rock solid and a clever design. Comes with a cable lock and hitch pin lock that are keyed alike. I prefer the simple springed frame clamp of brands like Kuat but at less than half price this rack works very well.
Good quality rack, sturdy metal and plastic construction. The ratcheting device locks the arms in well. Plastic parts made me nervous at first, but I have transported a 60lb eMTB for about 5-10 hours now without trouble. I used some bungie cords as a secondary measure. All mechanisms remain fixed and tight. Would recommend, especially if you want to add a second heavy bike in the future using their optional add-on.
I have a Draw-Tite 1 1/4" hitch. After removing the 2" spacer block, the outer 2" shell of the rack will not seat far enough in the hitch body to allow the hitch-pin holes to align. I'm lacking around 1/8" for the hitch pin holes to align. This is exacerbated by the fact that the hitch pin is threaded, so there is little tolerance. For this to work, I'll have to visit a tool and die shop to have the outer 2" shell of the rack milled by approximately 1/8" (shorter) so the rack will seat far enough into the hitch to allow the hitch-pin holes to align. Not the outcome I was looking for.

I am very sorry to hear this Edward, and would like to dig a little deeper on why this is. What hitch do you have on your vehicle? There should be a sticker on it with this information.
