Question:
I am trying to locate the plug to wire my brake controller on a 2011 titan. I looked at the 2010 picture and was wondering if it is in a different location

Your 2011 Nissan Titan does indeed have a factory brake controller port located beneath the dash. You will likely need to remove the dash panel to access the plug, and it should be found on the left hand side by the emergency brake pedal. We have found that the plug can be pretty burried behind other connectors and wires, so you may just need to do a little digging. The correct plug should actually be labeled for function ("Elec Brake Conn") and will be taped off.
I have attached an image to assist.
In order to install a brake controller like the excellent Tekonsha Prodigy P2 # 90885, you will just need the Plug-In Adapter # 3050-P. One end of the adapter will plug into the brake controller itself while the other end will connect directly to that factory port.
