Expert Reply:
Both the Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System # TDR1500DS and # TDR1500DQ that you referenced are designed to fit the 2011 Ram 1500, but there are a couple differences that may factor into which set will work for your specific model Ram and application.
The Timbren # TDR1500DQ is not a fit for regular cab models of your Ram 1500, while the # TDR1500DS will fit this model perfectly. If you have the regular cab, you will want to go with # TDR1500DS. If not, then another deciding factor is the different weight capacities.
The # TDR1500DQ has a higher weight capacity of 8,600 pounds compared to the 6,000 pound capacity on the # TDR1500DS. Depending on the type of loads you plan on hauling in the truck, you may consider the higher rated unit. If you don't need the extra capacity, then you will want to go with the lower rated # TDR1500DS, as this will also allow for a smoother ride when you aren't fully loaded.
I have attached a few short video demonstrations on these systems, along with the written installation instructions for both that you can also take a look at.
