Timbren Kit Recommendation for 2016 Ram 1500 Towing 6,000 lb Trailer

Question:

I am trying to figure out which Timbren is correct for my application. I have a 2016 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 Crew cab. I tow a 6000 pound camper. I see there are 8, 7 and 6000 pound ratings.

Your camper that weighs 6,000 lbs is going to have a tongue weight figure of 600-900 lbs so based on that I would go with a lighter duty Timbren part # TDR1500DS which has the 6,000 lb rating. The problem with the higher capacity Timbrens is that they cause the ride to be a bit harsh so they should only be used whenever absolutely necessary.
