Question:
Hello I have a 2016 ram bighorn quad cab 1500 w/ hemi and tow package. Total tow is listed as 10,340 lbs. I have hauled close to that with no issues with stock suspension. balanced heavy equipment on trailer. But we just picked up use toy hauler camper. Its touge heavy with nothing in garage area. Living area is in front gross weight is 6400lbs. The trailer has the load leveler mounted on touge. I havent towed it yet going to get it today, but I know Ill have to add something. Because first owner tells me they had issues with there 1500 truck when the garage was empty or lite. So what would you recommend to add to the dodge so it rides level. Thank you for your time

For your 2016 Ram Bighorn 1500 the best leveling will be with the air spring options. My recommendation is the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Air Helper Springs - Rear Axle # AL57365 which will let you adjust the air pressure from 5 psi to 100 psi to level your truck. They have a rated load leveling capacity of up to 5,000 lbs but they do not increase your truck's rated payload capacity. This product will not fit trucks with the factory air suspension system.
This kit comes with the manual inflation valves, but if you want to have the ability to adjust your springs at any time, then I recommend adding a compressor like the Air Lift Load Controller II Compressor System for Air Helper Springs - Single Path # AL25592. This will give you the gauge in your truck cab and a switch to raise or lower air pressure.
If you want maintenance free support, you can use the Timbren jounce style springs # TDR1500DQ which are also not a fit with the factory air suspension system and are not adjustable. The best option if your have the factory air system is the SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs - Rear Axle # SSR-307-47 which are also maintenance free and have a progressive load control supporting more as the weight increases.
I've attached a video to assist with comparing the products.
