There are specific 5th wheel hitches for flat bed trucks and no installation kits because of how the hitches must install. As an example take a look at flat bed hitch # RP30054. To install the hitch a 1/2 inch thick steel plate has to be professionally welded to the truck frame below the flat bed. Then the hitch can be bolted to that plate. A hitch or rails cannot mount to just the bed because the bed is not strong enough in most cases for 5th wheel towing.
