Question:

I have a 2004 Ford F250 Super Duty. I am considering the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Air Helper Springs - Rear Axle Item # AL57298. The problem that I can see is that I have gooseneck hidden hitch and the bracket of the hitch appears to be right where this air bag mounts. Have you ever installed these air bags on a truck with a hidden hitch?

There are Air Lift Air Helper Springs which will work for your 2004 Ford F-250, although part # AL57298 is designed only to be used if your truck had a Reese fifth wheel hitch installed.

What you need is either the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Air Helper Springs # AL57393 is your '04 F-250 is 2WD or # AL57390 if your F-250 is 4WD.

These springs come with hardware and that will allow you to use them with a gooseneck hitch, though it will require you to drill a hole in the brackets if your gooseneck has brackets running along side of the frame, which from your description it sounds like.
