Bolt Kit Recommendation for Attaching Trailer Brakes

Question:

On the back of my trailer brakes its stamped: 47010 pri GG sec GG. I need the brake mounting bolts. The little studs that hold the brake onto the axle. They push in and have nut on the other side of the mounting plate. What bolt do I need? I had to cut one off to get the entire hub off. If you need more information, please let me know. Ive never had to do this so I dont know if Im explaining it right. Thanks!!

Sounds like you are looking for a mounting bolt kit for your trailer brakes. For that we have the Mounting Bolts and Hardware for 10" Brake Assemblies # BRKH10A. This is for assemblies that attach with 4 bolts.

If instead you have 5 bolts you'd want the part # BRKH12.

Yes the Bearing Buddy part #BB1980A-SS is correct for the Dexter hub you have #8-247-50UC3 and then for the bearing kit part #BK2-100 is also correct! You made my job easy.

Hello James, thanks for reaching out. With the Kodiak Disc Brake Caliper #KDBC225S, the calipers themselves are stainless, but the backing on the pads is not. Those are a polyurethane coated steel. Does your trailer go in or around salt water?
