I have had the Curt trailer hitch installed for over a year. I installed it so I could add a 4-foot extension to compensate for my slide in camper. I have been towing a Jeep behind and it has worked out great. I would buy it again but I don't this think I will ever need to

This item I ordered does not fit my Ram 2019 3500 MEGA cab. The receiver opening sits back about 4 inches from the OEM Hitch receiver and the mounting holes do not align with the frame holes for proper mounting. The quality of the hitch looks very well and the finish is also a high quality. I really wish the hitch would fit the truck. After calling CURT customer service they agreed that they do not make a hitch that would fit this particular truck. The OEM hitch has a poor metal quality that is too soft and caused the pin hole to oblong. I am not the only RAM owner with this same experience. etrailer is doing the best at this moment to try and find a solution to my issue .
