Question:

Is it true that this wont work if you have a full size spare on a 2018 Range Rover Sport HSE Dynamic V-6. It has a full size spare that you access from the trunk.

I spoke with my contact at Curt who said that he hasn't heard of any issues of the trailer hitch receiver # C13243 not fitting with the spare tire on a 2018 Land Rover Range Rover Sport as of yet so you should be good to go. He did say that if you have the factory spare with the black wheel then it should fit just fine but if you have an aftermarket full size spare then it will not fit.

Attached are the installation details that you can reference and use if you want to get under your vehicle to verify the installation.

Please note that any non-trailer loads should be supported with a strap like part # 18050 according to the Curt warranty for this trailer hitch.
