Hi I’m going to buy a Ford F-250 2018 and need a hitch for a boat. The trailer and boat weigh about 9-10k lbs depending on gear. I am looking at the gen y torsion hitch. I think I will need around a 5-7” drop . So I think the 2.5” hitch with the 7” looks right. The 3” hitch doesn’t have a around 7” and 9” will be too long. Also I need a really nice lock for the hitch. I appreciate your input.
