Question:

Hello I am looking for a hitch for my 2007 Toyota Highlander Hybrid to haul a trailer cross country. I was looking at the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch # 75153, but noticed that it excludes hybrids. Could you recommend a hitch to me that is compatible with my vehicle, as well as ball mounts and wiring? Thank You.

Draw-Tite 2-inch hitch # 75153 as well as similar Curt part # 13530 are confirmed fits on your 2007 Toyota Highlander Hybrid. Both offer bolt-on no-drill installation and include all required hardware. They share identical capacities and installation but the Curt hitch is USA-made.

For a 4-pole trailer wiring harness I suggest the Tekonsha kit # C59236. This provides basic stop/turn/tail lighting signals for a trailer. If the trailer has electric brakes you will also need a brake controller such as the Prodigy P3 # 90195 along with the installation kit # ETBC7. An install article and video are linked to help you.

I also suggest our Ball Mount Kit # 989900 which includes multiple hitch ball and ball mount sizes as well as a set of clip-on towing mirrors # KS3891-2.
