Will a Reese Goose Box Make Contact with RetraxPRO MX Hard Tonneau Cover when Turning
Published 05/17/2018 >
Question:
Will the retrax pro mx cover work with a Reese goosebox application on a 5th wheel? I know it will work straight on, but will it clear on a tight turn. Just worried the angle of the goosebox will hit in a sideways situation. I have a Ram 3500 with an 8ft bed. Thanks

Expert Reply:
A Reese Goose box angles upward like a regular 5th wheel pin box so you should not have a problem making tight turns with the RetraxPRO MX Hard Tonneau Cover # RT80233 in place. But to be sure you can do a little testing ahead of time. The cover will stick out into the bed by about 1-3/4 inches. If you hook up to your trailer and get at a 90 degree angle you can measure the space between the top of the bed and the Goose Box.
