Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look at this Victron blue, smart 12-volt battery charger with Bluetooth. Now, this is designed to charge and maintain 12-volt batteries, and this is going to plug into a standard 120-volt household outlet. So what makes this a great smart charger is, it's not just a basic trickle charger. This is going to give you up to five amps and it uses Victron's adaptive, multi-stage charging process, which is gonna help your batteries charge faster, more safely, and it's going to, your batteries are gonna last longer as well. This is gonna work well with common battery types like lead acid, AGM, and similar 12-volt batteries.
And you're gonna get these alligator or crocodile clips for quick and easy hookups or these ring terminals that can be permanently bolted to the battery for a clean, always ready connection. And you're really gonna be able to easily swap these cables out as you can see here. So if you need to use the alligator clips, you can just plug it in, it locks in just like that. And so these are ready to use for temporary solution, but then if you wanna plug in the ring terminals again, it's going to be just as easy. So I'm a big fan of how easy it is to swap out the included connection points.
So it's just as easy to remove as well. So this charger is IP65 rated, so this is gonna be well protected against dust and water splashes. Another big plus is Bluetooth and this is going to allow you to connect to Victron's free, Victron Connect app on your phone, so you can see charging status, battery voltage, and adjust settings without touching the charger at all. So looking at, if you wanna call it the height here, I'm just gonna lay it down here so it fits in frame and I can measure just a little bit easier, we're sitting right at about 7.5 inches, the width right at about 3 11/16 inches. And the thickness or the depth, about 1 7/8 inches. So this is well constructed. I think it's gonna be pretty solid choice if you're looking for a reliable, set it and forget it charger for maintaining your 12-volt battery long term rather than something that's not as a high quality product as this.
