Recommendation For Tough Hitch Lock That Has 5/8 Inch Diameter And Fits 2-1/2 Inch Receiver Tubes

Question:

I'm looking for a locking trailer hitch pin, 5/8 inch for a 2.5 inch receiver. The issue is the capacity rating. I've got 17,000 lb rated hitch, so want a pin to match.

Hitch pins and hitch pin locks like the Curt Hitch Lock, Item # C23519, do not carry any weight so they do not have weight capacities. The weight is seated in the hitch, not the hitch pin, by the downward force of the tongue weight so something like the Curt Hitch Lock which has a 5/8 inch diameter and fits 2-1/2 inch receiver tubes will work well for you and your needs.
