This rectangular LED light packs three bright diodes behind a red polycarbonate lens, giving you clear visibility without hogging power. It runs on 12V DC and only draws 0.051 amps at 12.8V, so it’s efficient and easy on your electrical system. With no filaments to break and no bulbs to replace, the LEDs last up to 50 times longer than incandescent lights. You get a dependable light that just works every time you flip the switch.
Water and vibration are no match for this sealed housing. The lens and body are sonically sealed into a single waterproof unit, making it fully submersible and ideal for use around water or in harsh environments. The sealed design keeps moisture out and protects the diodes and circuit board from damage, so you won’t have to worry about corrosion or short circuits down the road.
When properly mounted, this P2-rated light throws a clean 90-degree spread—45 degrees to either side of centerline. That makes it perfect for use as a clearance or side marker light, bright enough to be seen straight on but not meant to cover both roles at once. It’s an easy way to stay visible and compliant with trailer lighting requirements while keeping wiring simple.
Mounting is straightforward with the included stud and stainless steel base. The two-wire setup uses a lead and ground wire that connect through 0.180" female barrel bullet fittings, so wiring is quick and secure. At just 2-1/8" long by 1-1/8" wide by 1-1/16" deep, the compact housing fits neatly where you need it without getting in the way or catching on anything.

Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com, today we're gonna take a quick look at this Optronics submersible LED trailer clearance or side marker light. This LED trailer light is going to function as either a clearance light or a side marker light depending on how you have it mounted. It is P2 rated which means it's going to produce a 45 degree angle. So the light can be seen on either side of its center line for a total of 90 degrees but can't be seen as clearly from the side because it's not a full 180 degrees of light being there. So you will be able to either use it as a clearance light or a side marker light depending on how you have it installed. This is sonically sealed, so it's going to be waterproof.
Great application would be for your boat trailers or something that you're gonna be putting into water frequently, waterproof polycarbonate housing and lens unit is going to keep it nice and water tight so that you don't have to worry about water getting in there and causing any issues. This does have a red lens over those three light LEDs. If you're not familiar, LEDs are a really nice replacement for your traditional incandescent lights. There are a lot more efficient, so it's gonna provide brighter light with less power output. The bulbs are also a lot more durable, so you're not gonna have to replace them nearly as frequently because they don't have those brittle filaments on the inside, so they last about 50 times longer than your traditional incandescent lights.
This one actually has a lifetime warranty on those LEDs, so you can trust, it's gonna last for a nice long time for you. This does have a two wire design, so you've got your lead and your ground that you'll be able to hook up to your wiring system. This is gonna be compatible with your 12 volt DC systems, it's only gonna draw about a 0.051 amps on your 12 volt system. This does also have the stud Mount that's going to connect it to your trailer the included stud and stainless steel base. And as far as our dimensions go, we're looking at right two and one eighth of an inch long by one and one eighth of an inch wide, and if we measure right where that base is, we are gonna have right about one and one eighth of an inch deep as well.
So if you are looking for a red side marker or clearance light for your boat trailer or any of your other aquatic trailers, this is gonna be a really great option for you to provide that light for you. Working perfect
Horrible. I had to return as 99/100 lights have a ground without a secondary wire and they have a steel back that would rust out so quick. I sent these back to etrailer, but I still have not received a credit for them. They were sent back with everything within etrailer requirements for return. Where is my credit even after being authorized by etrailer staff? Be careful with etrailer if you need to return something. They do not quickly return your money.

My apologies that the credit has not been applied for you. Customer Service will reach out and remedy this ASAP. As for the light we do have a similar light that does only have one wire as part # MCL95RB. It grounds through the hardware that mounts it to the trailer frame.
