Removal of Atwood Water Heater Element on Model GC6AA-10

Question:

What is the socket size required to remove the 120VAC Heating Element on a GC6AA-10 Atwood 6 gal RV water heater? Great Service from you folks before! Thanks PS I received a Special Wrench...one that must be metric??? anyway it its too big.. Ha!

I spoke with a representative of Atwood, who told me that to remove the water heater element in your Atwood GC6AA-10 you would not use a socket wrench, but instead need to use a particular wrench such as the Wrench for Screw-In Water Heater Element # CAM09883. This will fit 5" screw-in elements with 1-1/2" nuts.
