Question:

What is the footprint of the sliding companion hitch when installed in my Chevy? If you could give dimensions to front and back of hitch from the ball location it would be helpful. I’m trying to determine if my toolbox fits in front and ice chest in the back.

I have the dimensions you are looking for on the B&W Companion # BWRVK3400-5W, which you install in your 2015 Chevy Silverado 2500 with Custom Underbed Installation Kit # BWGNRK1012-5W.

According to B&W, the Companion slider measures 15" from the the center of the hitch post to the cab-side of the hitch and 30" to the tailgate side. Overall, this hitch measures 34-3/4" wide and 45" deep. I've added a video of the rails being installed on a 2015 Silverado 2500 as well as a video review of the Companion for you to check out.
