The Firestone kits like the part # F2430, which is confirmed to fit your 2018 GMC Sierra 1500, are the best option since they are the only ones compatible with in-bed fifth wheel hitch rail kits like the Curt # C16400-204 you are interested in. This kit does not require any frame drilling either.

For just the Curt bracket kit you'd only need the part # C16400 and you'd be set.

For a brake controller install harness confirmed as a fit for your 2018 GMC Sierra 1500 that will plug into the port under your dash and has 4 wires that you can then hardwire to your brake controller you'd want the part # 3016-S.
