Can a Valterra Waste Valve Be Used in Place of a Bristol Waste Valve

Question:
My motorhome has Bristol waste valves. Can I replace them with Valterra valves?

Expert Reply:
Yes, Bristol is just the manufacture of the product. As long as the opening diameter and fitting type is the same then you can absolutely use one in place of the other. Unfortunately, we do not carry Bristol products but I have attached our waste valve selection for you. You can use the facets on the left hand size to narrow down your searches (electric/manual, single/double, gray water/black water i.e.)
For example, the Valterra Waste Valve part # T58 is a straight pull manual valve that uses 3" diameter bayonet fittings.
