Recommendation For Straps To Use With E-Tracks In Enclosed Car Hauler

The new enclosed car hauler I just purchased has the E-tracks installed at the outer edge of the tires. The tires are front - P255/45ZR17, rear - 285/40ZR17. I currently have Erickson EM58523 straps. Will these hold at an angle? Or, do I need to purchase Erickson 77314? Thanks.

I contacted the manufacturer and Erickson straps, Item # EM58523, as well as all of their straps like Item # 77314 are not to be attached/put on a hold position at an angle. They must go straight "up and down" per installation instructions to be effective. Generally speaking, the same holds true regarding installation of straps when using an E-track system.
