Question:
Is the included wall-mounted thermostat a wired thermostat or a wireless thermostat? I ask because you do mention that a wireless thermostat is available. Part Number: ADV67QR

Hey Paul, the Advent Air RV AC unit part # ADV99QR that you referenced comes with a wall mounted thermostat that the remote part # ADV67QR communicates with. So there wouldn't be a way to just use a wireless remote with the Advent AC unit without also installing the wall thermostat. Basically the remote thermostat will mirror the wall thermostat. What AC unit do you have now?

We are replacing a 20 yr old Coleman air conditioner that has a thermostat built into the ceiling cover along with a wireless remote. Our customer would like the same setup. We did order the Advent air conditioner along with the interior panel with built-in thermostat. (To get the customer back on the road!) They'll just have to make that work, or we could possibly wire in a wired thermostat. (And then get the wireless remote. ) Just not sure how we would run the wires in a camper that never had a thermostat before. It could be surface-mounted wiring. What do you think?
