2018 Bighorn 5th Wheel Trailer Receiver Hitch Recomendation

Question:

I have a 2018 Heartland Bighorn 5th Wheel. It has brackets to mount a receiver hitch installed on the frame. The brackets have 4 slotted holes for a bolt on installation. The RV hitches I have looked at on your web sit do not look like they would work. The distance between the installed brackets is 68 3/4. Any recommendations?

The Adjustable Width Trailer Hitch Receiver for RVs, 22" to 72" Wide # 13703 is the best fit for your 2018 Heartland Bighorn 5th wheel trailer. I can't confirm that it will work with your current brackets, but I can confirm it will work with the frame dimensions you gave. This hitch is a great option for your trailer and will allow you to tow up to 3,500 lbs with a 350 lbs tongue weight. It is also a great option for RV rated hitch accessories up to 350 lbs total weight.

This is the only confirmed fit we have that is a bolt on option. We do have a weld-on option that is available in the # UF35-946403.
