Installation of Wiring Harness to Factory Harness of 2018 Subaru Forester for Lighting Modification
Updated 03/26/2018 | Published 03/23/2018 >
Question:
I own a 2018 Subaru Forester. I want to do this modification, and use the tow harness accessory to plug it into, according to this picture it is a r79 connection point but I cannot find it. I am wondering if you can ask your vendor what connection it is as your product 118467 has the exact connector for the tow harness. I am looking for the male part, specifically. I really appreciate if you can help me out. Thank You.

The T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # 118467 has the connection to the factory wiring to give you the connection in the rear cargo area of your vehicle. I recommend using the wiring connection and the ModuLite and then tapping into the 4-way wiring for your lighted reflectors. This will protect your factory wiring and allow you to unplug your modification as well.
Our vendors do not sell these parts separately, but I don't recommend using it separate from the ModuLite anyway. I've attached a wiring diagram for the 4 way so you can tap into it for your modification after the ModuLite.
