Question:
Buying a used vehicle with a hitch. How can i tell if it is factory installed and has the tow package? Need to pull up to 5000 lbs. Thanks

One way would be to check out the hitch and see if you see any brand names like Curt, Reese, Draw Tite, Hidden Hitch etc. Another way would be to take the VIN to a Toyota dealer and let them run it to see if it has the tow package option.
The label or sticker on the hitch will give you great clues though. If you see Toyota or anything like that then it would be a factory hitch and not an aftermarket hitch like the # DT65MR we offer for your vehicle that has an 8,000 lb capacity.
