12 Inch Aluminum Wheels for 5.30-12 Tires on a Boat Trailer

Updated 03/22/2018 | Published 03/21/2018

Question:

What valve stem would you recommend for the recommended rims? Will these recommended rims work if the pilot hole I measured on my spare tire is 2 and 15/16 inch opening? There appears to be some space around the hub that the current rims are attached.

We have some 12-inch aluminum wheels that will fit your 5.30-12 tires. We have split spoke wheel with black accents # AM22319HWT. This is my favorite and what I would go with because it is a beautiful wheel.

All of these wheels have the 5 on 4-1/2 bolt pattern and more than enough capacity for the tires you have. The aluminum construction will also resist corrosion well. I have linked videos of all of these wheels for you.

You will also likely need longer lug nuts to mount the wheels. Lug nut # 12CLN is a great option that fits 1/2"-20 studs.

For any of the recommended wheels you can use valve stem # AM20903. The pilot hole on all of the wheels is 3.19 inches in diameter which is a common size. I have no doubt that the wheels will fit your hubs especially since you mentioned the spare's pilot hole is slightly larger than the hub where the wheel mounts.
