hello I have a 2017 express van, I did not come with the hitch, had the hitch installed. the van book shows wiring under dash for break controller we found that, also says there was a plug under rear driber side taped up found that but only has 6 wires and im tring to wire a 7way. thanks

On a 2017 Chevrolet Express Van that does NOT have the factory trailer connector a trailer brake controller install will usually be hardwired using our install kit # ETBC7 and a 4-pole harness like # 118392.
These items allow complete installation of a trailer brake controller like the Prodigy P2 # 90885 and a 7-way socket, which is included in the install kit. No other items are needed.
This kit bypasses any factory wiring and includes all required components for a complete brake controller and 7-way installation.
