Question:

I bought one the hitch above for my 2014 subaru crosstrek. I wrecked it. I bought a 2018 crosstrek. I pulled the hitch before turning it in to the salvage company. The same part comes up when I search for hitches for a 2018 crosstrek, but I wanted to be absolutely certain before ordering new mounting hardware. Will the hitch above fit my 2018 crsosstrek? its kind of heavy and awkward to get everything jacked up just to check how things line up....

I'm glad that you checked with us before ordering new hardware. We do have a solution for you but the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13135 that you referenced does not fit your 2018 Subaru Crosstrek. It will fit up to a 2017, but after that there were some changes made to the Crosstrek that warranted a design change in the trailer hitch.

For your 2018 Crosstrek we have the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13382. This is a Class III hitch with a 2" receiver just like what you had with the part # C13135.
