Is the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch for a 2018 Subaru Crosstrek Hidden Like the Curt Hitch

Question:

How does this hitch look on the 2018 Subaru Crosstrek? Is there a way to see the instructions or a picture of what the car looks like with is mounted on it? This hitch is rated for 150lbs more tongue weight than the Curt hitch, but the curt hitch is installed and hidden, whereas im not sure about this hitch. Thank you!

I have included a picture showing what Draw-Tite trailer hitch # 76209 looks like when installed on a 2018 Subaru Crosstrek. (It may take a little while for the picture to appear.) The crosstube on this hitch will be visible below the rear fascia on the back of the vehicle. Like you said the Curt hitch # C13382 is mostly hidden with the exception of the receiver.

The difference is tongue weight capacity between the 2 hitches is not a factor because the vehicle itself has a maximum tongue weight capacity of 200 pounds. This means that even though the hitches are rated higher you are still limited to 200 pounds tongue weight.
