i have a gh6-7e water heater that busted i’m looking for a direct swap newer model. what would be plug and play with no modifications

To replace your GH6-7E water heater I recommend the Dometic RV Water Heater # DMC74FR as it also runs on 120V power, and is gas and electric with an automatic pilot. This measures 12-3/4" tall x 12-3/4" wide x 19-7/8" deep which may be different than what you currently have, and you'll need to also get the Black # DMC58FR door for a complete look - but you'll need to fill out the rest of the gap with some trim.

When it comes to an exact match there used to be an Atwood water heater that was exact, but Atwood went out of business a few years ago so this is your next best bet.

I'm attaching the installation instructions for you to check out, but if you aren't familiar with water heater installations you'll need to have a professional do the install for you as this isn't a plug and play swap.
