Can Clearance Light with Black and White Wires Replace Light with 2 Green/Brown Wires

Question:

My utility trailer right running light broke off. It has two green/brown wires that ran to it. The replacement light has a white ground and a solid black wire. Will this light work for this trailer?

Yes, the replacement light will still work.

Although there are common colors for the wiring on a trailer, nothing is set in stone so the colors of the wiring can vary. Just be sure to ground the white wire of the Optronics Square LED Trailer Clearance Light # MCL36AB to a clean, bare-metal surface to avoid shorts on your light circuit.
