Will the Redarc In-Vehicle BCDC Battery Charger # 331-BCDC1225D Protect your Starting Battery?

Question:
Am I missing something or not reading something right? Couldnt this drain your starting battery when boondocking by using power from it? Then your stuck.

The Redarc In-Vehicle BCDC Battery Charger - Dual Input - DC to DC - 12V/24V - 25 Amp # 331-BCDC1225D has a built in battery isolator function to prevent the charger from pulling power from the start battery when the vehicle is off. This will prevent you from draining your starting battery and leaving you stranded in the boondocks.
You are correct in that if this function were not present it would cause issues, but they have accounted for that and built in the isolation to prevent that issue.
