For your 2018 Ram 2500 with Factory 5th wheel prep package, the Curt A20 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # C16044 is the best 20K hitch confirmed to fit your truck. This hitch has interlocking dual jaws and a connection indicator. However, if you are looking for the very best hitch, I recommend the B&W Companion OEM 5th Wheel Hitch for Ram Towing Prep Package # BWRVK3600. This hitch is about 20 lbs heavier, but more sturdy and durable.
You may also want to consider the Curt wiring harness # C56000 to add a second working 7-way to the bed of your truck for easy wiring connection and a clean look.
