Question:

I ordered the correct brackets for my 2017 f250. I have removed my Q20 and rails from my 2016 f250 but I need instructions to install. Do you know where I can get them? Thanks

The actual position of the bed rails can vary according to which manufacturer's frame bracket you're using.

Since most folks tend to order the brackets from the same manufacturer as the hitch, I'll assume unless told differently that you're using the Curt # C16428 frame brackets with your Curt bed rails (you always want to ensure that the frame brackets and bed rails are from the same manufacturer so the capacity of the installation isn't compromised). The rails for this kit mount so that the rear-most edge of the front rail is placed 51-1/4 inches forward of the rear edge of the bed (not the tailgate) as shown in the provided diagram. This holds true whether it's a short or a long bed truck.
