Will handheld monitor work with this camera and if so can monitor be purchased separately?

To get the wireless camera similar to the # SH04 along with a monitor, you will want the Swift Hitch Wireless Hitch Alignment Camera and Monitor - Night Vision - 4-Hour Camera Battery # 04928. This is the only separate monitor that will work with the Swift Hitch camera unless you use the smartphone or tablet app. The monitor is not currently available separately.
You may also be interested in the Storage Case for the Swift Hitch Wireless Camera System # PC02 which is a nice way to store the equipment when not in use.
