Trailer Hitch and Wiring Recommendation for 2017 Honda CR-V

Question:
I am getting a 2017 Honda CR-V LX 2 wheel drive version. I need to pull a small boat very light and I need to purchase a tow package and wiring kit if it doesnt come with it. Can you please advise on what models I could use and if i need a wiring kit.

For a front wheel drive 2017 Honda CR-V the Draw Tite hitch part # 76128 would be the hitch to go with. It has plenty of capacity, is a confirmed fit and has the best price. I attached an install video for this for you to check out as well.
For trailer wiring you then would want the 4-way kit part # 118741 which is also a confirmed custom fit.
Since you wanted to do some towing you might be interested in etrailer ball mount kit # 989900. It comes with 2 ball mounts; one with a 3/4 inch rise or 2 inch drop and one with a 2-3/4 inch rise or 4 inch drop. It also includes a 1-7/8 inch ball, 2 inch ball, hitch pin with clip, and a storage bag.
