Which Ball Mount Should go With Curt Hitch C13382 on 2018 Subaru Crosstrek?

Question:

Im planning on ordering the Curt C13382 for a 2018 Crosstrek that I just put a deposit on.. Ill be hauling a Utility Trailer that measures 13 inch to the bottom of the coupler when level. Since I dont yet have the car or hitch, I dont know how high off the ground the top of the receiver will be. What ball mount will give me the appropriate amount of rise or drop for my trailer?

We haven't yet been able to do a test fit on a 2018 Subaru Crosstrek with Curt hitch # C13382, so the exact measurement from the top of the hitch to the ground is not yet known. Based on the 13 inches from ground to coupler on your trailer and recent heights from the Crosstrek and it's Impreza brethren, you can use the MaxxTow Adjustable-Height Ball Mount # MT70068. This mount does come with a pin and clip though you'd need 2" hitch ball # 40038 to go with it.
