On the Rapid Hitch Adjustable Aluminum Ball Mount # AM3411 the ball can be removed from the mount by gently tapping on the mount when it is removed from the shank part. The ball pin is just a friction fit. If needed you can apply some light lubricant, such as WD-40, before you tap the curved part of the mount with a rubber mallet. Stand up the mount part on its flat surface when you do this.
The ball housing, part # AM3423, can be removed from the shank component # AM3441 by removing the spring clip and the pin that passes through it horizontally. You can see these parts being joined in the linked video. Removal simply requires reversing that process.
