Replacement Reese Steadi-Flex Weight Distribution System
Updated 10/12/2017 | Published 10/11/2017 >
Question:
I ordered the wrong tongue weight at 12k vs 14k...unfortunately Ive used it once now. What options do I have? Is it true only the bars are limited to 12k while the head and hitch are rated higher to 14K - universal to the Steadi Flex system? Can I replace the bars? Please advise...really love the product just need the upgrade.

Expert Reply:
The Reese Steadi-Flex 12K # RP66560 does not currently have the ability to upgrade to the 14K bars because they don't make the replacement bars at this time. Your best option is to use the Reese Steadi-Flex Weight Distribution System w/ Sway Control - Trunnion - 14K GTW, 1.4K TW # RP66561 but you will need to replace the entire system.
